Bought this in December. Haven't used for 2 months because it broke and doesn't turn correctly. I've used all kinds of litter in it and thats not the issue. This is just a faulty equipment. I haven't had time because of my job and I thought this would help. Well it made it worse. Sad part is, my cat loved it but now can't use it because it doesn't turn, and it doesn't connect properly even though I've troubleshooted it many many times. It doesn't turn when you press the button, you literally have to press clean 30 times to have a full clean cycle when you want to clean. Then sometimes instead of cleaning, it goes the other way and throws away all your clean litter, so you clean the litter box only for the clean litter to get dumped in the disposal with the poop. Extremely frustrating.

To top it off, I can't return it. Is started showing signs of break down immediately but I wanted to give it a chance. Was fine the first month, but immediately became like crap. Now I'm stuck paying this broken thing and can't return it.

This thing has worked wonders for me, going in about 6 months or longer with it and let me tell you it’s amazing. Set up was so very easy, the app is easy to install and use, the odor elimination system although I don’t know how it works it freaking works great. Virtually hardly any smell even after day 7 of me not emptying tray. I have 2 cats and in 7 days I empty the bin once and add around 2-4 cups of litter. I will 100% not scoop another damn litter box ever again. I have recommended this item to 4 people now and we all absolutely love this thing. Thank you so very much for making my life a little easier

Item worked great .. but then motor stopped working but thankfully customer service took care of the issue right away

I am still very thankful for this automated litter box. But buying a used brand name Litter Robot showed me what I was missing. It's not nearly as user friendly. There's only a single button for all functions. I can't figure out how to empty the main area into the dirty basin to start fresh. The app always tells me there's not enough clean litter in the box. I can't seem to get the notifications to come through when the basin needs emptied. I still need to check my phone settings. I've only checked the app. But it still functions. It still rotates when it's supposed to so I consider it average.UPDATE: I still consider this average, maybe slightly above average. You have to empty the main basin using the app, at least that problem is resolved. Better hope your Bluetooth is working when you need to empty it. The app does not offer push notifications. It's just not a function. That's disappointing. They sent a replacement and that also indicates I'm lacking clean litter. So I've received two of these and both can't properly assess the amount of clean litter in the basin. But they still work properly. If the dirty litter pan is full the robot continues to still do the normal cycle. This can be very messy if you don't regularly check it since they don't have push notifications on the app to tell you it's full. Check the pan regularly. To summarize I wish this one would do app notifications and I wish it would stop cycling if the dirty pan is full. But otherwise it works as it should. It's better than other off-brand robots I've used in the pan is pretty large for the dirty litter.The company is determined to get good reviews. I asked them to stop contacting me yet they still persisted. I've relented and updated the review to get them to leave me alone. There's a line between good customer service and annoying. They walk that line.The review is still my honest review. I just switched from three stars to four. I do like it better much than the two other off-brand robots I have. I have 4 different brands of automated litter boxes at my house. My favorite is the brand name but it also has quirks so the one in this review is a very close second.
